| SUBSCRIBERS AND SPECIAL ORDERS Paslay Classic Cachets has been supported by many loyal subscribers since its beginning in 1982. By joining our subscriber family you will not miss any future issues. Certain special items such as the annual Duck Revenue issue are not collected by some subscribers. Therefore special order forms are sent out to subscribers and others to reserve this type of issue. To become a subscriber, simply email us or write to us with your name, address, telephone number and email address if on-line. Tell us you would like to subscribe to all future issues and follow this up with a deposit of $20.00. As issues are shipped ( the average price per issue being $15.00) the cost will be deducted from your deposit. Simply replenish your deposit when it gets low and look for your beautiful covers to arrive several times each year. No shipping or handling charges are made to subscribers. You will be mailed special reservation forms for the special items like the duck stamp, high denomination issues such as express mail and the annual Christmas Village cover. Many people want extras of the Christmas cover so this will be your chance to order these. Prepayment is required for these special items.
DUCK REVENUE FDCS. Each year since 1983 Paslay Classics has produced a beautiful hand-painted cover for the annual duck hunting stamp. This is not a postage stamp but a revenue stamp. However, when a postage stamp is attached to the envelope along with the duck stamp, the U.S. Postal Service will cancel the envelope on the date of issue of the duck stamp. These first day covers are very popular and appreciate in value very rapidly. Fran Paslays designs are extraordinary and we are extremely proud of this series. If you are interested in getting on our mailing list for a reservation form for this cover, simply email your name and address and request a duck cover reservation form. These are usually sent out in April for the cancellations in late June.
CHRISTMAS VILLAGE DUAL CANCEL. In 1983 Paslay Classics began its most popular series. This cover was intended as a signature piece and it has become such. We call it the Christmas Village Series because the design is reminiscent of a turn of the century small town at Christmas time. Various scenes of life in these small towns are depicted on the designs. The cover features both the religious and secular Christmas stamps issued each year in October or November. The stamps bear the respective cancellations from the cities of issue. If you would like a reservation form for this issue simply email us your request along with your name and address. These order forms are sent out in September and the covers are usually shipped in the following spring.
EXPRESS MAIL AND PRIORITY MAIL ISSUES. When the postage rates change, new stamps are issued for these special mailing services. These are higher denomination stamps and many collectors acquire just these types of high value issues. We produce designs for these items and will send you a reservation form if you will email us you interest and name and address. Contact us by U.S. mail or email for questions.
